The Alexa Mini LF provides a sensor size similar to that of 35mm still camera frame. This gives you the ability to utilize Full Frame lensing and take full advantage of many of those popular vintage stills sets as well as modern full frame cinema glass. When shooting on the Mini LF in Open Gate mode your field of view widens and your depth of field becomes shallow creating a pleasing and aesthetic image.
